Sabbia Valley Archeological Civic Museum

The museum was founded in 1956 and is hosted in an ancient 15th century building in the historic centre of Gavardo. The exhibition focuses on paleontology – fossils, stones, and animal skeletons -, local archeology, and the history of humankind from the Middle Paleolithic to Post Renaissance.

Closed on Saturdays and national holidays, 9 August from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 13, 14, and 19 August

Tickets: Full: € 4.00; reduced: € 2.00; free for children under 4 years of age and over 65.

Groups and schools only upon reservation.

The Museum offers educational and workshop activities designed for elementary and middle school children.
