Here comes winter. Schools close for the Christmas holidays and children can’t wait to have fun in the snow. Brescia is the right place to spend time together: it has a wide variety of offers for those who travel with their family. Let’s have a look!

Ponte di Legno-Tonale area

Put your skis on and…go! Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area gives you the opportunity to enjoy the perfect winter holiday together with your family. The main attraction for children is Fantaski Leolandia, a playground in the snow completely dedicated to children of all ages, open every day during the winter from 9am to 5pm. The park offers a miniclub and baby sitting; it is conveniently located close to the road and the ski slopes.

The park hosts the ski lessons for beginner children offered by Tonale-Presena and Ponte-Tonale ski schools, but it is also open for individual children accompanied by their parents.

Ponte di Legno Tonale ski areas offers many other activities for the little ones, such as snow tubing where you will slide on the snow on comfortable coloured inflatable rafts.

When the night comes, it is time to have fun with many other children. Every Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30pm the area organises Fun Kids: activities for the little ones with music, ski competitions, face painting, and treats. You will also have the possibility to rent sleds, bobsleds, and snowbikes.

Ponte di Legno – Tonale also has a special offer for families: a child up to 8 years old with an adult parent who purchases a ski pass from 1 to 14 days at rack rate receives a free ski pass of the same kind and duration. More information here

Borno-Monte Altissimo ski area

20 kilometres of ski slopes entirely immersed in a spruce forest, 5 kilometres of ski lifts and a 400-meter difference in altitude: Borno-Monte Altissimo ski area offers quality and relaxation to your family holiday in the snow. Its ski school almost touches the meadows around the village.

Maniva Ski

With numerous sports and games available to children of all ages, you are sure to have fun at Maniva Ski. Appropriate infrastructures and a programme with entertainment and performances for our little guests will make this winter holiday with your family unforgettable.

What is better than flying down a slope on a sled? The area has a dedicated sled slope equipped with a convenient moving pavement, to enjoy a safe, fast ride. Moreover, during the whole season you will have the possibility to follow ski and snowboard courses specifically designed for different age levels.

Val Palot Impianti

If you enjoy quietness and nature, Val Palot Impianti (1,100 metres) is what you need. This ski area organises night showshoe walks inside the forests in the valley, as well as several courses to introduce your children to skiing.

Val Palot Impianti is only 12 kilometres from Pisogne and is ideally located as ski excursion after a visit to Lake Iseo.

Skiing at Gaver

A circuit of 5 km for competitive cross-country skiing, a 3 km circuit for beginners, and alternative tracks for a total of additional 5 km, with the opportunity to practice alternate and skate.

The snow-covered tracks of Centro Fondo del Gaver in the enchanting Gaver plateau in Adamello Park are ready to welcome you for some winter fun surrounded by marvellous pristine nature at the foot of Mount Blumone.

Aprica Ski Area

Aprica Ski Area offers a lot of fun, too. Skiing, snowboarding, and many other snow-related activities await you! The sloped are a short walk away from accommodation facilities in the area.
